Phoenix Health Systems (Phoenix), a provider of healthcare strategic consulting, IT outsourcing and revenue cycle management services, recently completed a HIPAA Security engagement with PinnacleHealth of Harrisburg, PA.
Phoenix conducted a HIPAA Risk Evaluation as part of compliance services specified by the security provisions of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). The HIPAA Risk Assessment and Evaluation identified the current PinnacleHealth security posture in comparison to the requirements of the final HIPAA Security Rule. The HIPAA Evaluation also assessed the ability of current security mechanisms to enforce PinnacleHealth security policy, assist PinnacleHealth customers and clients, and ascertain the capabilities of existing controls to conform to the HIPAA Security Regulations.
